General

Padborg Hotel ApS has CVR no. 40138994 and is registered at the address Oksevej 2, 6330 Padborg.

The section below regarding the privacy policy applies as an integral part of the terms for all bookings, but it also applies to all other agreements and relations with Padborg Inn.

Please note that when you provide your personal data to Padborg Inn, you also give your consent that your personal data may be stored and processed by Padborg Inn in accordance with our privacy policy.

Payment terms

All online bookings are paid in advance at the time of booking. Payment can be made online with credit or debit card. For bookings other than online bookings (for example bookings by phone or e-mail), we may require you to guarantee the payment or prepay with a credit card, in which case we send or provide a link to a secure website where you can enter the necessary credit card details. The guarantee or prepayment is a condition for maintaining the booking.

Cancellation terms

The conditions for changing and cancelling a booking depend on the type of booking. If the booking is of the "Non-refundable" type, it cannot be changed or cancelled, and the payment cannot be refunded. Bookings of the "Flexible Rate" type can be cancelled, however no later than 1 month before the day of arrival and under the conditions below. If a "Flexible Rate" booking consists of several rooms with different arrival days, the cancellation deadline is 1 month before the arrival day of the first reservation. Please also note that the booking can only be cancelled as a whole for all rooms.

For bookings of the "Flexible Rate" type, it is an absolute condition for repayment of the prepaid amount that the cancellation is made online. Enter the booking number and the e-mail address used when booking. The booking number appears in the booking confirmation sent by e-mail. Upon timely cancellation, the full amount for the entire booking is refunded to the payment card used during the booking. The refund is made within 1-8 days after the cancellation depending on which payment card was used.

For cancellations later than 1 month before the day of arrival or in the event of no-show, the booking is paid in full, regardless of whether it is used in whole or in part.

Arrival and departure

The room is at your disposal from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. The room must be vacated no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure. If the room is vacated later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure, you will be charged for an additional night's stay unless otherwise agreed.

Liability

In the event of force majeure or other extraordinary circumstances beyond Padborg Inn's direct control – including fire, water damage, strike/lockout, IT breakdowns and other technical system failures – Padborg Inn is entitled to cancel bookings without notice and without liability for damages.

Padborg Inn's liability cannot, regardless of the cause, exceed the total price of the booking, and any compensation does not include indirect losses such as loss of profit, transport and travel costs, and expenses for alternative accommodation are likewise not covered. Padborg Inn is also not liable for loss or theft of valuables and luggage in the room or elsewhere in the hotel, including in connection with the use of luggage rooms and/or luggage lockers.

Forgotten items

Items left or forgotten in the room or at the hotel are stored for a maximum of 3 weeks after departure.

Left items which Padborg Inn assesses to be of no particular value are disposed of immediately. Padborg Inn cannot be held liable for the disposal of items regardless of what the value may turn out to be. Items can be forwarded upon payment of a handling and postage fee. The price depends on the item and the destination. Items are only forwarded upon prepayment of the fee and postage, and cannot be sent cash on delivery.

Parking

Parking during your stay is free. Requesting a parking space outside of a stay in connection with the booking is considered a request which Padborg Inn fulfils if possible. Parking is always at the owner's/user's own expense and risk. Padborg Inn is not liable for damage to the vehicle regardless of the cause, including fire, water and storm damage as well as vandalism and theft of or from the parked vehicle.

Parking outside of stays is subject to payment. Different prices apply depending on the circumstances. Further information is provided on the signage in the parking areas. Control fees (parking fines) may be issued for unauthorised parking. The control fees are issued by an external parking company that monitors the parking areas. Padborg Inn is not a party to any complaint about issued control fees.

No smoking

Padborg Inn is smoke-free, and smoking is therefore not permitted in the rooms or anywhere else indoors. The prohibition applies to all forms of smoking regardless of content, including the use of so-called e-cigarettes or anything comparable. Failure to comply with the smoking ban will result in a fee of currently DKK 1,500 for each violation. The fee covers, among other things, cleaning the room to make it odour-free again. If the smoking activates a smoke detector and this triggers an automatic fire alarm resulting in the fire brigade being dispatched, this may additionally result in you being charged – on top of the above fee – the costs that the fire brigade charges Padborg Inn for the false alarm. Depending on the situation, the amount may vary from DKK 5,000 to DKK 7,000.

Guests under 18

Young people and children under 18 cannot book or stay at Padborg Inn without being accompanied by an adult.
